Call For Papers

Pakistan Horizon is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal of The Pakistan Institute of International Affairs. It is one of the oldest and most reputed journals of international relations in the country. The first issue of Pakistan Horizon was published in March 1948. Since then, it has been published without a break and has a wide circulation both within the country and abroad.

Pakistan Horizon aims to combine rigorous analysis with an unbiased approach to the scientific study of international issues. We invite analytical and well-researched articles on current issues from scholars, experts, diplomats, policymakers and researchers. The Institute will publish these articles in the issues (January, April, July and October) of the journal.

For the January issue is 1st October

For the April issue is 1st January

For the July issue is 1st April

For the October issue is 1st July

Articles should be original and should not be under consideration elsewhere. The standard length of articles for Pakistan Horizon is between 5000-7000 words including footnotes. It should be submitted as an MS Word document with an abstract summarizing its contents and should be properly documented in Kate L. Turabian pattern. All contributions should be accompanied by a short introduction of the author including his/her designation and affiliation.
